Review of Big Fish (2003) by Jennie R — 07 May 2013

I thought this was a sweet movie. A father's colorful stories and a young man who cannot appreciate those stories until the very end. I enjoyed this movie. It made me smile and geniunely care about the characters.

The movie was a bit long. There were parts that could have been edited down. My daughter is a huge Tim Burton fan and she did not even make it through half of the movie. She found it dry and boring. She stated that it was missing the edge that most of Burton's movies have.

I will admit that had I not known ahead of time that this was a Burton movie, I would have never guessed.
