Review of Big Fat Liar (2002) by Chris D — 20 Nov 2012

I saw it as a kid, so my review is skewed a bit in favor of the film, because it really is fairly strictly targeted toward kids in the 8-13 range. The plot is fairly uninteresting, but it is fun to see Bynes and Muniz co-star together, and Giamatti pulls off a very entertaining performance as "the jerk".

Maybe it's just because I enjoy Giamatti acting in general, but it's enough to give the film a passing grade, if nothing else. Standard teen comedy, but it might be worth watching just to see Giamatti turn blue :-P.
