A pleasant departure to form for Tim Burton, Big Eyes, like the characters, is colorful and vibrant eye candy to behold while showcasing an underlying layer of filth. Well acted and directed beautifully, Big Eyes is pleasant to the eyes, if not at times dull to the heart.
