Review of Big Eyes (2014) by Gary A — 28 Dec 2014
Not typical Tim Burton fare however that does not make it uninteresting. On the contrary this yarn seems to be spun out of 1950's school of film making and is very entertaining. It would take many years however "Big Eye" artist Margaret Keane finally gets the courage to scream "I am woman hear me roar" as she refuses to no longer let her scheming husband take credit for her talent and work.
Unfortunately it has become "lost" among brand name releases this Xmas...see it now with BIG EYES before it leaves theatres.
