Review of Big Eyes (2014) by Syed R — 09 Jan 2015
It's a decent comeback for Tim Burton. Although it's a weird movie tonally, it's overdramatic and serious at the same time. Amy Adams, who was incredible, plays it really reserve and soft spoken while Christoph Waltz plays it really over the top and eccentric.
It's almost like a off beat romcom disguised as a serious dramatic movie. Overall though, I did enjoy it...much more than the crap he put out with Alice in Wonderland and Dark Shadows.
