Review of Big Eyes (2014) by Carol S — 15 May 2015

I am usually a big fan of Tim Burton, but this was definitely one of his weaker film. It was pretty good for the first hour and a half and kind of fell apart for the last 15-20 minutes or so with a pretty ridiculous and predictable scene.

I thought that both Amy Adams and Christoph Watlz were really good in this film. I swear that 2014 had 10-20 different films passed on true stories and even though most had solid acting, I felt the stories often lacked and this film is no exception; here's hoping 2015 and the future take note and make more original films.

Overall a decent film for the most part, but I didn't like the ending and therefore can't really like the film.
