Review of Big Daddy (1999) by Matt M — 12 Jan 2013
Surprisingly sweet for an Adam Sandler vehicle, this is the story of an irresponsible adult suddenly forced to reach maturity when he is left to nurture a kid whose father is his roommate. The father son relationship has been used time and time again in comedy films, but there is a different and fresh new appeal with this one, with a biting new comedy style and some gloriously rude gags that can please an older audience.
