Review of Big Daddy (1999) by David F — 23 Apr 2011
So-so comedy that tries to make Adam Sandler less of an idiotic man-child and more of a lovable doofus leading man, as he adopts a young boy to prove he can be a responsible adult (a very recurrent theme in the Sandler canon it seems).
Not very original or clever, but it does have a few moments. May appeal to women more than men.
