Adam Sandler's films aren't known for their substance, and his brand of humour isn't for everyone, but 'Big Daddy' is an overall improvement on the comedian's previous efforts, despite overuse of sentimentality and vulgarity at times.
Most notable here, though, is Rob Schneider's performance in a supporting role.
