Review of Big Bear (2017) by Dragonup56 — 26 Sep 2017
Big Bear is a brash, bold blast. It has all of the comedic sensibilities of movies like the Hangover and the out-of-nowhere emotional moments of Madea. It’s the perfect blend of comedy and drama that leaves you with plenty of quirky knee slapping scenes and tear jerking reality.
The pacing of the movie is so quick you breeze through the 87 minute run time without realizing it. In fact, as soon as the movie ended, I was hungry for more of the wacky antics with Joe’s dumb drinking buddies.
The movie takes advantage of its location in the sunny California mountains of Big Bear Lake with plenty of pastoral shots that make you take in the majesty of the scenery. From the wild antics to the beautiful scenery, you’ll be enjoying Big Bear from cover to cover.
