I don't see the problem some people have with this movie. I've heard people say that it's too hard to follow the story. How so? I found it quite clear. Just sit through the movie and listen.
It does remind of a Lars von Trier movie in a way and also feels a little different from anything else Takashi Miike has done. That's what I always notice about his films. They are never the same as the last one.
