Review of Big (1988) by John M — 29 May 2012
Big is witty, ingenious stuff. It's subtle and believable, too. We, never, for an instant separate ourselves from the world we are being presented, however far-fetched things get. This is, in no small part, due to Hanks's wonderful performance; he really has tapped into the 11-year old mind here, and is superb and consequently, so is the movie.
