Review of Big (1988) by Jake W — 01 Apr 2014
It doesn't quite live up to the huge hype it is been given, but it's a good, heartfelt classic. Hanks does a good job, but it's no work of art in comparison to the much better performances he's given since.
It's funny, it's genuine, but all in all it's lacking what it takes to make this film more than just family fun.
