A delightful movie, again from the 80's (without doubt the pinnacle decade for filmmaking). Tom Hanks is just perfect, and Elizabeth is great as well. Sure, the premise is real dumb, but actually if you look deeper, who doesn't dream of having their wishes fulfilled.
On that note, the premise is completely forgivable.
