Review of Big (1988) by J K — 25 Mar 2010
A great film and a great chance to see Tom Hanks in his earlier acting days. I suspect he absolutely loved every minute of this role as it gave him the chance to be a kid again, something most adults dream of from time to time.
Hanks is, it must be said, a very convincing child. This is down to the excellently-written and funny script, but also down to Hanks' own personal interpretation of the role.
