Review of Big (1988) by Dylan B — 06 Jun 2011
Although a great classic movie, some parts of this film were slightly odd. It teaches simplicity, imagination, and shows a yearning to be bigger and better than we are as human beings. This movie makes you remember what it's like to be a young child, with a need for freedom, the knowledge of new expectations, and a deep yearning to be bigger, better, and older.
This movie teaches how important simplicity is in everyday life and allows people to wonder about love at different ages, and how friends fit in through out your life. It's an entertaining movie with a slightly bittersweet ending and an easy charm that draws families to it.
This film is such a hit because it reminds people of their childhood and makes them want to go back, want to remember the better, simpler times that make growing up so much fun.
