Review of Bhoothnath (2008) by Cli O — 20 Nov 2008
This was my first forray into anything Bollywood, and to be honest it lived up to a few stereotypes (Bizarre musical numbers, hollywood homages, pretty actresses, sound track that sang parts of the story) about Bollywood that I found quite entertaining.
The story itself is one about a ghost in a house who then tries to confront his new family, only to ultimately befriend the young boy. It's quite a nice family film with some nice light comedy, and some awkward stuff going on.
I only dock a star because parts of it were a bit slow, and some of the acting seemed subpar. OVerall though, it was fun to watch. I may not be an expert in Bollywood, but I know what I like.
