Review of Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) by Salima K — 25 Oct 2007

I was extremely looking forward to the film after watching the amazing trailers, but was completely let down. The film was promoted as being an out-and-out comedy, which is what I was expecting, but it turned out to be a psychological thriller, with maybe a touch of comedy here and there.

I was preparing myself for a good laugh riot. Paresh Raval, Rajpal Yadav and Akshay Kumar all three are mind blowing comedians. I was looking forward to triple the chaos, but was again let down. Besides Vidya Balan, all performances were mediocre.

Vidya did an excellent job in the last half hour of the movie - loved the hair! LOL. And as for Amisha Patel... Well I think she should stop acting! The sooner, the better! I wouldn't reccomend this movie, but if you really want to watch it, I'd suggest you wait till the DVD's out, as you're not missing much at all!
