Definitely one of Meyer's best, and quite different from his other work. 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls' is fun fun fun and so melodramatic and camp. The songs are super, and the dialogue is so funny, I could quote this film to no end! Trashy-camp kitsch brilliance!!
