Review of Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970) by Max U — 29 Jun 2007
Bad movies are bad because they take generic plot-lines and execute poorly. This film takes a completely unique, in fact completely surreal plotline, and executes appropriately. No-one here tries to act like De Niro, and well they shouldn't.
It's so genre-bending, it appears more "real" than many serious films. If you like Rocky Horror, you'll love this.
