Review of Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970) by Aaron W — 14 Nov 2008
This is the single greatest parody of all time. A straight faced comedy that plays like a melodrama, only every line's a cliche and every character's emotionally dysfunctional. Toss in a few Russ Meyer women, some long-winded moralizing, and one of the best WTF moments ever and you've got yourself one amazing piece of cinema.
