At times, a fun and colorful musical with great dance sequences. But other than that, it's pretty much a musical film experimentation gone wrong. The film is choppy, heartless, uninsightful. And Kevin Spacey, although highly devoted and entertaining, was a bit too old to play Bobby Darin.
