Review of Beyond Our Ken (2004) by Alan J — 18 Apr 2009
I got interested in the film after watching Gillian's recent TV interview. She said it's her favorite movie work in an ironical way. From this early work of Pang I can see the little quirks in his style of story telling, the exploration of the darker area of the human psyche yet never in a heavy handed way.
And the women in Pang's movie are never the vulnerable sitting duck type.
