Review of Beyond Borders (2003) by Ali M — 09 Jul 2007
It is a love story, and yeah it is sad in the love story, but more so in the fact that the film is based around a man and a woman who have a soul that screams for the Humanitarian cause. I consider myself fairly active as far as that goes.
.. not as much as I should be, but not nearly as much as them. I wish I had that kind of courage. Not just the courage of the fictional characters, but the courage of all the relief workers that are in the field, doing what I am affraid to do.
I want to go out there someday. Even if it is just as a journalist, there to document_ Even then I am helping by bringing it more to the public eye. My heart goes out to all the relief workers, who sacrifice their own well being, their own health, and even sometimes their lives to really help other.
To do what I am affraid to do. I hope one day I have the courage.
