Review of Beyond Borders (2003) by Lisa B — 21 Nov 2008
I liked it better than I expected. The sights of refugee camps saddened me incredibly, reminding me of my travel and volunteer work in the West Pokog region of Kenya very much. I appreciated the historical context and humanitarian relief work backdrop a lot in this film, whether they were exaggerated or not, I think this film definitely got me thinking more about what I can do to help.
