Review of Beyond a Reasonable Doubt (2009) by Deadly V — 28 Dec 2010
One of those movies that feels absolutely predetermined from the start. A writer decides to prove that innocent men could be convicted and given the death penalty by setting himself up. Only his future father-in-law, a newspaper editor, knows the truth.
Only one plot can be generated from this set-up. Nevertheless, the "trick" ending falls flat for Fritz Lang.
