A complete misconception. Nicole Kidman is grotesquely miscast, Will Ferrell isn't funny and Shirley MacLaine is simply embarrassing. This is one tv show-movie transition that should not have been made, particularly by Nora Ephron, who hasn't been responsible for anything good since When Harry Met Sally.
