Really lousy third act to a relatively enjoyable franchise is too frantic and loose to feel like a cohesive whole. Eddie Murphey is back to a more wise cracking comedic hero role rather than the screaming action hero he was in the second one.

yet the whole thing just feels irrelavent. Still its better than most of the movies he would do about a decade later. And it was pretty cool seeing all those cameos. Espescially of the soul great Al Green.
