STILL hilarious, Eddie Murphy cracked me up big time when I saw it in the theater... maybe I saw it on opening weekend? I was 16 at the time, I am pretty sure I saw it with my sister and boyfriend at the time.
I just saw this again (I've seen it a few times since I saw it at the theatre) and it hasn't really dated all that much. Eddie Murphy has perfect comedy timing, and he's got an amazing cast to back him up.
Judge Reinhold and John Ashton are great as the bumbling pair of cops he gets to know. Steven Berkoff is the asshole bad guy, also great as well. The movie is almost stolen though by Bronson Pinchot as the art gallery dealer.
Oh my god, so good.
