Review of Beverly Hills Cop (1984) by Robert H — 22 May 2011
A classic action-comedy that was an obvious choice for Eddie Murphy after the success of 48 Hours. Using music to drive the action not only makes this film slightly unique at the time it also gives us such great tracks as âNeutron Danceâ? by Pointer Sisters, âNew Attitudeâ? by Patti LaBelle, âThe Heat is Onâ? by Glenn Frey and of course, âAxel Fâ? by Harold Faltermeyer.
This film has aged well and is still as enjoyable today as it was when it was first released.
