Beverly Hills Cop is much more than a showcase for Eddie Murphy's immense talent for comedy (a talent that at least back in 1984 was at the top of its game), it is one of the most solidly crafted action movies ever made and it is among the funniest action comedies I have ever seen.
I have no doubts when I say that it is one of the most entertaining things I have ever had the pleasure to watch.
