Eddie murphy in the prime of he's career as the loud mouth axel foley. the film works well as a revenge action film due to the casting of murphy. murphy is given great support and the story is well crafted for the comedy and action moments.
Fun and clever this film was a major blockbuster for a reason, it is a solid film.
