Review of Beverly Hills Chihuahua (2008) by Rebecca B — 08 Aug 2009

There was nothing really good about this film. The only thing it had going for it was funny dog humor and some pretty interesting voice overs by a great cast. Now if they left the movie with just the dogs, it would of been great.

But they had to have some scenes where they completely CG the main dog; played by Drew Barrymore. That was horrible. Now a dog only has so many emotions in its face and body movement. When they CG'd the dog, they added all these cartoonish style emotions that turned the movie completely fake.

I really don't know why these movies get made. I guess for the child audience. I am sure they got a kick out of it. I watched it because I was curious.
