Does nothing to stand out or be above the overcrowded holiday slashers. Better Watch Out is an average slasher with a few decent twists and tolerable characters. There are the usual plot holes and convent twists.
Nothing surprising. But, to the movie?s credit, it does a good job of building tension and has good moments of gore and humor. So if you?re in the mood for some dumb fun, then watch Better Watch Out; otherwise, an easy skip.
