Tons of fun, and never underwhelming. Savage Steve Holland transcends a lot of the styles and ideas that have made so many 80s movies look so silly so soon and instead works to the beat of his own drum.
It's weird, sporatic, cute and touching, and the love story even has echoes of a Chaplin romance. It's one heck of a fun ride.
