Despite the obvious appeal to asian american audiences, this movie shouldn't be disregarded as simply being a token-cash in. It's well directed and has a really slick style that makes up for the average acting put forward by most of the cast; the exceptions being Sung Kang and John Cho, both of whom are supremely badass.
