Review of Best Worst Movie (2009) by Andy C — 07 Apr 2014
Oh, well it was alright. It was definitely a mixed bag of a documentary. I'm pretty sure people should have been fearing for Margo's mental health, she sounded very frail. The end let it down really, it was quite cringe-y to watch the cast visit Margo and her ill mother who both seemed to be deteriorating, it was horrible to watch George Hardy visit a convention in the UK with pretty much nobody knowing him, it was also difficult to watch as the director of Troll 2 felt like he had created this great movie, as if he couldn't see how terribly bad it was and was getting upset that people were laughing at the unintentionally funny parts.
Is he for real? Perhaps it's because of his Italian culture. I think Best Worst Movie could have focused on different points to make it more interesting but I did like the inclusion of the fan get togethers, I think that sense of community over this hilarious little crappy movie is great.
