A documentary that's partly about the cult following of Troll 2, but mostly about the hopes, dreams and realities of the people involved in that project. It's surprisingly touching at times: to see good-natured George Hardy clinging to his cult status in an attempt to experience the actor stardom he never had; to see the proud Italian director, screening after screening, unable to accept the shittiness of the movie he made; and to see the appalling mental state Margo Prey's in - which explains a lot about the bizarre way she acted throught Troll 2.
