Review of Best of the Best 2 (1993) by Alfredo D — 23 Sep 2010

Well I still have a soft spot for this sequel it obviously isnt as good as the original far from it. it even loses a star for the early loss of penn :-( ( but gains a half for the apperence of sonny langham from predator!!).

This one is more of your generic action pic starring martial artists and doesnt have the heart of the 1st pic. roberts and rhee look for revenge, a few of the korean's have cameo's (which was cool!). the plots alot thinner this time, acting about the same. Rhee's martial arts are again amazing, roberts for some reason does very little? Its mainly a rhee story as the big perfect badguy wants him in his no holds barred ring.

Still a good watch for martial arts film fans.

Watch the trailer I like how it lookts like roberts does alot more than he actually does! like punching the badguy into the mirror! in that scene roberts throws a punch and gets deck while rhee is to fast for the badguy!
