Review of Best of Enemies (2015) by Robert H — 13 Aug 2015
I remember these dates and the two conventions (Republicans in Miami to nominate Richard Nixon first, then Democrats in Chicago to nominate Hubert Humphrey amidst incredible and horrific turmoil), but this documentary really does a great job in filling in the historic detail, not just for this highly memorable and unprecedented debate between these two pundits who loathed each other, but the entire array of political and broadcasting forces churning underneath.
Not to be missed, especially because so many of the same arguments are present in modern-day society, even more so!
