Review of Best in Show (2000) by Alex C — 23 Jan 2009
Just about as clever and witty of a comedy as you'll ever see. For me, this is Christopher Guest and his gang's best work so far as the mock and parody the lunacy of a dog show. And the way the characters resemble the personalities of their dogs and visa-versa is well done.
And Fred Willard perhaps steals this show with one of the funniest performances I've seen in a while as the charming yet incredibly inept host of the dog show. Overall, my favorite comedy of 2000.
