Review of Best in Show (2000) by Beth M — 15 Mar 2009
In my opinion the funniest of the Guest Troupe mockumentaries (and one of the top ten funniest films of all time), every character is well-quirked and hilarious, especially when finally thrown together at the show.
The real genius of the movie is in knowing that scenes were written as outlines and then improvised with each actor so believably embodying their character. Among the many classic scenes the highlight here is Fred Willard, whose performance earned him a get out of movie jail card for life.
