I really enjoyed this film. It's got depth, but at the same time it'll make you laugh out loud. 'Beside Still Waters' is an interesting look at how friendships and relationships change from childhood to adulthood, as well as an examination of nostalgia and grief.
While all the characters are certainly flawed with a capital "F," that's what makes them compelling, and, ultimately, what makes this a great film.
