Review of Bernie (2012) by Movieguys — 23 Sep 2013
Bernie is a quirky, weird, off-kilter move with an overall sweetness. Jack Black plays Bernie up so that he is a very likable character, even for what goes on about halfway through the film. Linklater has created a sort of weird, cinematic fantasy that is very rare in film.
I can't quite explain it.
