Review of Bernie (2012) by Matthew F. J — 27 Jul 2014

Bernie is a good film, entertaining and well done. It gives the opportunity to Jack Black to step out of his comfort zone a little and play it straight. He is so touching and believable as Bernie, you will finally see all the potential the lad has as an actor.

I only wish he could do more films like this one and slow down on the not-so-funny comedies he's been plaguing us with the last ten years. Someone who's got so much potential should embrace it.

Time will tell.
