Review of Bernie (2012) by Cole Ryan B — 04 Jun 2015
Linklater's direction of Black and McConaughey helps build the characters and the attachment we as the viewers have, both to Bernie and Buck. The film is able to mix its comedy and its drama together for a darkly humorous and truly heartfelt drama.
However, the most impressive part of the film is the questionable gossipers: determining whether or not the towns people are portraying themselves or if portrayed by actors.
