This is an incredible movie about a woman every socialist, feminist, and human rights activist should know about: Bernadette Devlin McAliskey. Told through intimate one on one interviews between Devlin and the filmmaker, interwoven with incredible archival footage of the Irish independence and Catholic Civil Rights movements, it is a compelling history in the struggle for human dignity and self-determination.

I was fortunate to see it touring with the filmmaker, Lelia Doolan (an incredible woman herself). Doolan did a great Q&A afterwards. It sounds like it's not available yet other than some educational distribution.

I hope that changes soon because I would like to recommend it left and right. (Mostly Left.).
