'Bergman Island' is a feast for every Ingmar Bergman fan. Full of references and iconic Bergman sites, the film also has an interesting love story and a meta-narrative worth exploring. All in all, this may be what every cinephile looks for in a movie.
I liked it, but I felt Tim Roth's character was left hanging towards the end. Either way, I loved the acting in it and its funny moments, and the way it keeps you thinking afterward about what was fiction and what was reality.
