While there are several revealing moments, there wasn't really much here that surprised me or expanded my knowledge of Bergman in a material way. Even in the most revealing moments, I found myself shaking my head along and saying, 'of course.
' That said, he's still a compelling individual, and hearing him talk about his films is always a treat. Watching this only confirms how much his films are an extension of him.
