Review of Bereavement (2010) by Winfield W — 23 Nov 2011
The trailer for Bereavement looked intriguing, and the film has a few moments of genuine creepiness, but overall I just found it overly long, boring, and unengaging. A serial killer kidnaps a little boy who can't feel pain and makes him his assistant in murdering a long string of young women.
A decently creepy premise never quite develops into anything more than a long string of uninspired murder scenes.
